METONYMIC

(2012)

Metonymic resulted from recorded introspection during the month of January 2012.  The project aimed to highlight the importance of seemingly meaningless everyday occurrences, feelings, and emotions on the growth of one’s personality. In this way, the ceramic 'blocks' represent those personal experiences, and are understood to abstractly interconnect, forming notions of self.

Ultimately, the exhibition emphasizes the abstract nature of human personality, and its unimaginable complexities, formation, and 'arrangeability'.
